ISKANDAR IDEAL CITY

Located across the border from Singapore
As a local company in Nusajaya, we are experiencing the creation of Iskandar with its amazing developments and its growing pains as well.  We have a shared interest with Malaysia to ensure that this ideal city, planned with environmentally sustainable characteristics,  reaches its maximum potential of success. Through the Exhale Group we have taken an active stance to create a better economic environment for the local SME groups. A LinkedIn site has been created  by for Small and Medium Businesses, and Entrepreneurs to collaborate and share their learnings on setting up and running successful companies. This forum has gained traction swiftly, allowing us to connect as a group with the main governmental authorities who are working to facilitate the process required to move Iskandar in the appropriate direction.

TalentCorp CEO, Johan Mahmood Merican
Malaysia, like most middle-income nations, was suffering from a “high brain-drain intensity”, as almost one in every 10 tertiary-educated citizens is working abroad, he said....“We’re in an environment where we’re talent hungry and we’re losing top talent... of course, we have a problem,” he said.
