Alzheimer's Caregivers frequently report experiencing high levels of stress. It can be overwhelming to take care of a loved one with Alzheimer's or other dementia, but too much stress can be harmful to all parties involved including Caregivers, patients and immediate friends and family.
A “Memory Board” using both human input and machine learning to capture maximum information of the lifestyle of a dementia patient to aid the Caregiver in the management of the process.
1. We create the most comprehensive log of day to day events 2. We use stickers to create a family friendly way of moving otherwise very serious data 3. We use customized sound to manage mood. 4. We use sensors and beacons to complement the input of caretakers, friends and family 5. We use machine learning to help the Caregiver analyze the daily patterns and put forward lifestyle management solutions.
1. Revenue will be derived by licensing the software to demential patients who will be reimbursed by the government through a tax rebate. 2. Once critical mass is achieved Memory Board can compile the most up to date reports on dementia for subscription to global government groups. 3. Fifty percent of profits will go into updating the machine learning programs to further the science and to develop the cure for Dementia.
Go To Market Plan
1. Confirm the best social chat platform (We have chosen Viber as a family friendly interface) and create a proprietary Memory Board machine learning platform. 2. Solicit Toronto’s three tiers of government to determine seed financing to develop a beta version. 3. Send beta version out to test. 4. Confirm market fit and sell licenses to dementia patient in Canadian cities based on a federal government rebate program. 5. Move the concept into other countries.
Homecare programs presently offer flexible hourly in-home care up to full-time supervision with fully trained dementia Caregivers.
